First after the briefing, I had a pretty good idea of what the director wanted, because she gave me an example. But still I love making moodboards. It helps to make sure that we both (client and me) know where the design proces is going.

After the moodboard I made a moving sketch. To give the client an idea. And in this case also as a test for myself, to find out how I was going to do this. The music was my suggestion.

So I found the tutorial and it seemed clear I had to get some blotches. So I turned my hallway into a studio. Not very professional, but it was a low budget production.

This is what the blotches looked like after I tweaked the colors. I could make this into a matte/alpha.

Then AT5 made the images of the people an a green screen. I found the watercolor pictures on the net. You mix ‘m all together, add some love and effects. And their you go… happiness.
